As appointments are predominantly provided by telehealth, you are welcome to book the date and time that suits you, regardless of location.

Children are welcome to be in attendance if this is your preference but they do not have to be. The initial appointment is often longer than other appointments and are unlikely to maintain younger children's attention for the duration.

Currently appointments are being provided via telehealth by default. If you would prefer a face-to-face appointment, please contact us on

03 7015 1441 or email info@gutandkidsnutrition.com.au to request.

When last surveyed, 97% of our clients preferred telehealth appointments.

Telehealth allows you the flexibility to attend an appointment from the comfort of your own home.  Your child can continue to play/sleep/eat in a familiar environment.  Commute time is saved. Appointments can be squeezed in around other commitments more easily. Otherwise, the content of our sessions are exactly the same no matter how they are delivered.

Whilst our dietitians miss seeing your smiling faces in person, they find the insight into your home lives (and the easy access to your pantry, if needed) more useful.

Food interaction sessions

Food play- designed to introduce and expose children to food in a non threatening environment. The focus is on interacting with food, rather than eating it specifically. This can help explore children's perceptions, fears and preferences in regards to food and eating.  This can be great fun, very messy and a fabulous way to explore foods in our most challenging eaters!

45mins +30m prep & pack: $265

Other durations available on request

Each appointment includes allowance for 15-30mins follow up time, depending on appointment type/duration.  You will only be charged for the time needed to provide you the best quality care.

If you need more than this, your practitioner will discuss this with you or you are welcome to discuss with our friendly reception team. If you need less, invoices will be adjusted accordingly.

Plan and NDIA managed NDIS clients will be invoiced in line with NDIS requirements.

NDIS appointments will be invoiced based on total time spent, including follow up, and invoices are consistent with NDIS pricing agreements.

Appointment duration and subsequent fees are tailored to individual needs. Some clients prefer and benefit from shorter sessions, more often. Others want/need longer sessions, less often. Your dietitian will discuss this with you. You are welcome to express your preferences in this regard. This can be discussed with your dietitian or our friendly reception team.

NDIS funding, Medicare and Private health rebates are available for those eligible.

Feel free to discuss this with our reception staff, your health professional/service providers.
